Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company, owner of Big O Tires franchises in Missouri, Arkansas, and Kansas, seeks a General Service Technician to perform tire service and related duties. You will assist customers, handle vehicle servicing, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires reliable attendance, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and willingness to learn. Training opportunities and a team-oriented culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be 17+ years old with parental consent.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to operate a computer and office productivity equipment.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to exchange accurate information with customers.
• Ability to work with hazardous materials.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Drain oil and change oil filter; lubricate vehicles; install, rotate and balance tires; check and fill fluids.
• Unload tires and merchandise from trucks and stock shelves.
• Inspect disposed tires and dispose of tires properly.
• Maintain store appearance and provide fast, friendly customer service.
• Explain benefits of services and promote sales.
• Perform pricing, promotions, and vendor check-in per policy.
