Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is seeking a General Service Technician for the Big O Tires franchise in Missouri. You will perform service and installation activities with accuracy and timely workmanship.

Responsibilities include tire installation, oil changes, tire balancing, customer service, inventory, safety and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• 17 years of age (with parental consent) or older.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to exchange accurate information with customers.
• Ability to move and position self to move and retrieve product and supplies from shelves, up to 75 pounds.
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular hours as needed.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States of America.

Responsibilities

• Drain oil and change oil filter; lubricate vehicles; install, rotate and balance tires; torque wheels; check fluids and filters.
• Unload tires and merchandise from trucks and deliveries.
• Inspect disposed tires and store or dispose properly.
• Clean facilities, tools, and stock shelves.
• Greet customers and provide fast, friendly service.
• Promote services and explain product benefits to customers.
• Perform sales duties including pricing, promotions, and stock management.
• Maintain store appearance per Big O Tires standards.
• Safely operate customer vehicles with auto and manual transmissions.
• Complete training and report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Assist in training new employees.
