Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company, operating Big O Tires franchises, is seeking a General Service Technician to perform tire installations, oil changes, and routine maintenance while delivering fast, friendly customer service. You will help with stock, pricing, promotions, and training new staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years of age or older.
• Ability to learn concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Valid driver's license.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain Current Motor Vehicle Inspection license within 6 months (Missouri).

Responsibilities

• Drain oil and change oil filter; lubricate vehicles; install, rotate and balance tires and properly torque wheels; check and fill fluids and filters.
• Unload tires and other merchandise from transport trucks and deliveries.
• Inspect disposed tires for adjustment and dispose or store them properly.
• Clean facilities, tools, and equipment and stock shelves.
• Greet and thank customers, provide fast, friendly service and promote sales.
• Perform pricing, promotions, and suggestive selling per company policy.
• Maintain store appearance to Big O Tires standards and assist training of new staff.
