Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company, operating a Big O Tires franchise in Missouri, seeks a General Service Technician to perform tire services, oil changes and related maintenance while delivering excellent customer service. You will unload inventory, maintain store appearance and support sales initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should be at least 17 with a valid driver’s license, able to learn technical materials, operate a computer, and comply with PPE regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 17+ years old (with parental consent)
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
• Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Ability to communicate accurately with customers, coworkers and supervisors

Responsibilities

• Drain oil and change oil filter, lubricate vehicles, install, rotate and balance tires and torque wheels
• Unload tires and merchandise from deliveries
• Inspect tires for adjustment and dispose of tires properly
• Keep facilities, tools and shelves clean and stocked
• Provide fast and friendly customer service and promote product benefits
• Perform sales duties including pricing, promotions and suggestive selling
• Maintain Big O Tires store appearance per standards
• Safely operate customer vehicles in service areas
• Complete required training and report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Assist in training new employees as needed
• Adhere to company policies and perform other duties as assigned
