Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager who is career-minded, enjoys working with people, and is ready to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You'll support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and a quick, friendly customer experience, stepping in as Manager on Duty when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months' experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow facility and safety policies and practices.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed to coordinate workflow.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and address customer needs.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while upholding procedures and safety.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and daily inventory tasks.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and follow-up.
