Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager to support daily shop operations, lead a fast-paced team, and deliver a superior customer experience. You’ll fill in as Manager on Duty, ensure safety and efficiency, and help drive performance with coaching and hands-on training.

We offer paid training, growth opportunities, and a path from technician to leadership roles. Automotive experience is valued but not required, making this an accessible entry into management within Take 5.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Strong communication skills and ability to give direction and feedback.
• Commitment to safety policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed and oversee a safe, efficient workflow.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and daily inventory.
