Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to support the Shop Manager in daily operations, team development, and delivering a fast, friendly customer experience. You will step in as Manager on Duty when needed, helping keep the shop safe, efficient, and on track.

We provide paid, hands-on training to teach the Take 5 way. Automotive experience is valued but not required, with clear paths for growth into leadership roles based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading or mentoring others in a fast-paced setting.
• Commitment to following safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to stay calm, organized and solutions-focused during busy periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from your work location.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow as Manager on Duty by guiding the team.
• Lead daily operations and assist with inventory counts and processes.
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback to team members.
• Ensure services are performed safely and to company standards.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members.
