Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in the manager's absence and encourages bilingual applicants.

Responsibilities include leading the showroom team, handling buy online/ship to store orders, processing returns, invoicing merchandise, and ensuring security and end-of-day procedures are followed. ASE certification and RSS readiness are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• ASE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and execute service programs.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store and transfers accurately and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges with accurate refunds and proper staging.
• Invoicing merchandise, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end cash procedures.
• Assist with security and delivery vehicle checks.
