Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The position emphasizes leading a team, handling store tasks, and ensuring efficient processing of store transfers, online orders, returns, and stock control.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• ASE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Invoicing for all merchandise before it leaves the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages; delegate merchandising tasks and ensure completion.
• Ensure staff adhere to posted schedules; approve deviations and manage clock-ins/outs.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, bank deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
