Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, and store operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of supervisors and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes leading the showroom, processing orders, handling returns, and ensuring security and accuracy in daily procedures, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail experience in auto parts is a plus.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise service levels in the showroom and ensure program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, etc.).
• Ensure calls and online orders are processed promptly and customers notified on shipment arrivals.
• Process returns, exchanges, refunds, and ensure proper staging of returned merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and that security procedures are followed.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and bank deposits as needed.
• Ensure clock-in/out compliance and adherence to posted work schedules.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
