O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide top-tier service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and cross-functional work with the sales team is common.

The role emphasizes greeting customers, assisting with product selection, processing transactions, handling exchanges/returns, and helping with stock and planogram updates. Depending on business needs, transportation duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists with professional customers as needed.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store and answer calls per policy, look up parts and quote prices.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit in accordance with policies.
• Maintain and secure cash drawer; handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with stock updates, planogram updates, freight receival, stocking shelves, and cleaning.
• Perform in-store services within state/local laws (e.g., install wipers, test batteries, scan codes).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
