Job summary

AAA Mountain West Group is seeking a customer service professional to manage auto glass related calls, coordinate with insurance, and process invoices. You will work with the auto glass team to troubleshoot issues and dispatch technicians for scheduled jobs.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in customer service in auto glass or a related field, excellent communication, and the ability to navigate field software. This is an in-office role with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in auto glass or comparable industry.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage call volume for auto glass following proper process and procedures.
• Gather information and coordinate with customer insurance agency.
• Process invoices for payment via glass management software and verify accuracy.
• Collaborate with auto glass team and suppliers to troubleshoot issues.
• Order glass/parts, create technician schedules, and dispatch work to technicians.

Essential Functions

• Responsible to manage call volume for auto glass by following proper process and procedure to provide efficient, courteous, and professional service.
• Gather require information and work closely with customer insurance agency.
• Processes invoices for payment through glass management software system and verify accuracy on invoices.
• Work with auto glass team and suppliers to trouble shoot any issues that may occur.
• Order glass / parts for jobs, create technician work schedules for jobs booked, and dispatch work to technicians.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Maintain excellent communication with auto glass team at all times.
• Develop complete familiarity with department software.
• Troubleshoot issues with service, parts, vendors, and customers.
• Remain up to date on changes in auto glass industry that influence the auto glass business.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma
• 1-3 Years Experience
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in auto glass or comparable industry.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT / MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is primarily an office job. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending and lifting glass (up to 75 pounds). Approximately 98% of time is spent using a video display terminal.
