Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Claim Rep, Auto Damage, to support customers and third-party claimants through the claims process. You will explain policies, assess coverage and liability, and ensure accurate payments while managing losses from initial report to settlement.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, two years of auto claim experience, and an active adjuster license where required.

Qualifications

• Two years of auto claim handling experience or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Active adjuster license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage auto physical damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution and settlement.
• Evaluate policy terms, determine coverage and liability, and negotiate settlements within authority.
• Coordinate with appraisal teams and repair facilities for accurate damage assessments and timely closure.
• Document findings in the claim management system and maintain complete records of activity.
• Communicate with insureds, claimants, and internal stakeholders professionally and timely.
