Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Claims Representative for Auto Damage to support customers through the claims process. You will review policies, determine coverage, and negotiate settlements while coordinating with appraisers and repair facilities to ensure accurate damage assessments.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple claims in a fast-paced environment. A valid adjuster license where required and a Bachelor’s degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two years auto claim handling experience or equivalent.
• Active adjuster license where applicable.
• Proficient in claims management systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage auto physical damage claims from first notice to resolution and settlement.
• Evaluate policy terms, determine coverage and negotiate settlements within authority.
• Coordinate with appraisal teams and repair facilities for accurate damage assessments.
• Provide timely communication to customers and stakeholders.
• Adapt to new technology implementations and AI tools while maintaining productivity.
