Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Claims Rep, Auto Damage to support customers through the claims process for vehicle damage. You will evaluate policy terms, negotiate settlements, and coordinate with appraisal teams to ensure accurate payments.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, two years of auto claim handling experience, and an active adjuster license where applicable, with strong communication skills and proficiency in claims systems.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage auto physical damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution and settlement.
• Evaluate coverage and liability; negotiate settlements within authority.
• Coordinate with appraisal teams and repair facilities.
• Document findings in the claim management system with thorough records.
• Determine settlements and issue denial letters or other correspondence as needed.
• Provide timely, professional communication to customers and stakeholders.
• Adapt to new technology, AI tools, and system upgrades.
• Acquire and maintain Insurance Licenses within three months.
