Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Claim Representative for Auto Damage to support customers and third-party claimants through the claims process. You will deliver clear explanations of coverage options, investigate claims, and ensure accurate payments.

Responsibilities include managing auto damage claims, evaluating policy terms, coordinating with appraisal and repair teams, and maintaining detailed records. The role requires an active adjuster license and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of auto claim handling experience.
• Active adjuster license where applicable.
• Proficient in claims management systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage auto physical damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution and settlement.
• Evaluate and analyze policy terms to determine coverage, liability, and damage; negotiate settlements.
• Coordinate with appraisal teams and repair facilities to obtain information and ensure accurate damage assessments.
• Document findings in the claims management system and maintain records of claim activity.
• Determine settlement amounts within authority; issue denial letters or other correspondence as needed.
• Provide timely, professional communication to customers, representatives and internal stakeholders.
