Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Claim Rep, Auto Damage to support customers and third-party claimants through the claims process. You will deliver clear explanations of policies, evaluate coverage, and manage claims from first notice of loss through settlement.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; at least one year of auto claim handling; an active adjuster license where applicable; strong communication and detail orientation; and proficiency with claims systems and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• One year auto claim handling experience or completion of Travelers Auto Claim Representative training.
• Active adjuster license where applicable.
• Proficient in claims management systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage auto physical damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution and settlement.
• Evaluate policy terms to determine coverage, liability and damage; negotiate settlements within authority.
• Coordinate with appraisal teams and repair facilities for accurate damage assessments.
• Investigate claims using internal/external resources and document findings in the system.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders, providing timely updates.
