Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Associate Claim Rep, Auto Damage, in the United States to begin a thorough training program in claim handling, customer service, and policy interpretation. You will work with experienced professionals to develop skills in handling automobile, heavy equipment, mobile equipment, and property damage claims.

The program lasts 9–12 months with progress toward full claims handling responsibility upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training covering insurance policies, claim processes, systems and procedures.
• Assess coverage to determine compensability.
• Investigate by gathering information from policyholders, claimants and witnesses.
• Determine claim reserves and issue accurate payments.
• Communicate claim status to all parties and maintain records in systems.
