The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking an Associate Claim Rep, Auto Express, to begin a structured training path in claim handling, customer service, and policy interpretation. You will work with experienced adjusters to learn how to manage personal auto and property claims through frequent phone and written communications.

The program lasts typically 8–12 months, after which you’ll have the skills to handle claims independently and move toward full claims handling responsibilities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Previous internship or work experience in customer service or insurance.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); willingness to learn claims management systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and make effective decisions within established authority.
• Exceptional customer service skills and commitment to providing a positive experience for insureds and claimants.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Basic conflict resolution skills; willingness to learn techniques for facilitating productive discussions and negotiations.
• Demonstrate openness to continuous learning.

Responsabilidades

• Actively participate in structured training classes covering insurance policies, specific claim processes, systems, and procedures, including virtual, classroom, and on-the-job training.
• Assess coverage to determine compensability.
• Investigate by gathering information from policyholders and claimants to verify the facts of loss.
• Assess coverage and bring claim to resolution with accurate payment in a timely manner.
• Communicate and apprise all parties regarding claim status.
• Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim management systems.
• Adapt to new technology implementations, system upgrades, and digital tool rollouts, particularly in the areas of AI while maintaining productivity and service quality.
• Acquire and maintain relevant Insurance License(s) to comply with state and Travelers’ requirements within three months of starting the job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
