During a 9-12 month program you will assess coverage, gather information, establish reserves, and communicate status to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Previous internship or work experience in customer service or insurance.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn claims management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated openness to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in structured training covering insurance policies, claim processes, systems, and procedures.
• Assess coverage to determine compensability.
• Investigate by gathering information from policyholders, claimants, and witnesses.
• Partner with resources to obtain evidence and assess for fraud.
• Establish reserves, determine settlement amounts, and issue payments.
• Develop action plans for effective claim resolution.
• Maintain records in claim management systems.
