At Cox Automotive, specifically Manheim, we are seeking an Arbitrator I to learn the ropes of resolving customer complaints and ensuring we don’t repeat mistakes. You’ll work with buyers, sellers, and dealers to coordinate and validate returns and claims, starting with coaching and guided growth.

Responsibilities include reviewing claims, investigating a range of issues, interfacing with multiple departments, and negotiating resolutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with <2 years related experience.
• Accurate and detail-oriented.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fluid environment.

Responsabilités

• Receive guidance and coaching from day one to learn the ropes.
• Coordinate and validate customer returns and claims with buyers, sellers, and dealers.
• Review customer claims to verify alignment with arbitration policies and account guidelines.
• Investigate basic to less complex cases or those needing prescriptive decision-making.
• Interface with multiple departments during fact-finding and investigation phases.
• Utilize resources to facilitate inspection, documentation, and communication for resolution.
• Use appropriate financial authority levels to resolve cases.
• Prepare communications for resolution via phone, email, or in-person discussions.
• Mediates disputes and negotiates repair or pricing to reach mutual agreement.
• Maintain accurate files for arbitration cases, including invoices and settlements.
• Escalate to supervisor/manager when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
