Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Associate Claim Rep, Auto Damage, in the United States. You will receive comprehensive training in claim handling, customer service, and policy interpretation while developing the skills to manage auto, heavy equipment, and property damage claims.

This 9–12 month program prioritizes growth, requires a bachelor’s degree, strong communication skills, and willingness to obtain an active adjuster license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; internship or work experience in customer service or insurance preferred.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license as required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn claims management.
• Strong verbal and written communication with a professional demeanor.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in structured training covering insurance policies, claim processes, systems and procedures.
• Assess coverage to determine compensability and investigate by gathering information from policyholders, claimants and witnesses.
• Establish claim reserves, determine resolution amounts, and issue accurate payments.
• Communicate claim status to all parties and maintain accurate records in the system.
• Adapt to new workflows, technology, and digital tools while maintaining productivity.
