Travelers Indemnity Company in Downers Grove, IL is seeking an Associate Claim Rep, Auto Damage. You will receive comprehensive training in claim handling, customer service, and policy interpretation while developing skills to handle auto, heavy equipment and property damage claims.

The program lasts 9–12 months; upon completion you progress toward full claims handling. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, relevant experience, and be willing to pursue an adjuster license.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Previous internship or work experience in customer service or insurance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.

Responsabilidades

• Actively participate in structured training classes covering insurance policies, specific claim processes, systems, and procedures.
• Assess coverage to determine compensability.
• Investigate by gathering information from policyholders, claimants, and witnesses.
• Partner with resources to obtain other evidence and assess potential fraud.
• Establish claim reserves, determine resolution amount, and issue payments.
• Develop and execute action plans for claim resolution and communicate status to all parties.
