Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair and quality workmanship. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while helping achieve KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and either technical school completion or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair. Strong tool skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or apprenticeship in auto body repair is required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient use of common auto body shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair dents using fillers when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames for structural repair.
• Replace damaged sections and glass or interior parts.
• Weld and fit parts; paint vehicles as required.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
