Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass, part of The Boyd Group, seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with our speed, quality, and service standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and often a technical program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair. You will operate with teamwork and safety as priorities in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of repair methods and tool usage.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently to deliver customer value.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates using appropriate tools.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior components.
• Weld and attach parts; repaint vehicles to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
