Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision and care. You will work with the team to meet KPI targets, ensure quality repairs, and act as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and technical training or apprenticeship. Strong understanding of repair methods and tool usage is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Uses cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammers out dents and applies filler resins as needed.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replaces damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repairs glass as needed.
• Welds and assembles parts and applies factory-specified paint.
• Completes work orders within labor time guidelines and inspects vehicles after repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
