Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide outstanding customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and realign vehicles, ensuring repairs meet speed, quality, and customer-experience standards.

You’ll work with teammates to hit KPIs and serve as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may include apprenticeship or technical training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Skilled with body repair tools and methods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use tools to repair sections.
• Hammers out dents and applies filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis/frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and repair glass, interiors as required.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to spec; inspect work for quality.
