Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through precise assessment and repair of vehicles. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning with KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and either technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair, with strong skills in reading job orders and using repair tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents, realign chassis, replace parts and glass as needed.
• Weld, paint, inspect, and ensure work meets KPIs and quality standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
