Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and high-quality vehicle repairs. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality, and customer-excellence KPIs.

The role emphasizes teamwork and Brand Ambassador duties within The Boyd Group network. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, or completion of a technical program or 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair sections of a vehicle using cutting guns, plasma cutters, and other tools.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and windows or other parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts into place and prepare vehicles for repainting.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
