Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Estimator in Training in South Carolina. You will learn to diagnose and prepare estimates for repair per insurance partner and company guidelines, while communicating value to customers to achieve a high close ratio.

You will greet customers, map damage, and coordinate with repair teams, insurance adjusters, and production to finalize estimates and ensure accurate parts lists.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within the first 12 months.
• Preferred 4–6 years related work experience; photo-imaging software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of the WOW plan.
• Greet customers at repair drop-off and build rapport.
• Map damage with customer and identify WOW opportunities.
• Assist with estimate preparation and teardown verification.
• Support insurance adjusters with damage reports and re-inspections.
