Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training in Columbia, SC to learn and assist in diagnosing and preparing accurate vehicle repair estimates in line with company guidelines and insurance partner requirements.

You will work closely with a senior estimator, map damage, photograph as needed, and communicate with customers to review estimates and timelines. Prior customer service and strong communication are valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist insurance adjusters with damage reports and re-inspections.
• Greet customers at repair drop-off and build rapport.
• Prepare and finalize estimates using the Repair Planning Template and CCC One.
• Communicate estimate details and promise dates to customers, updating them regularly.
• Support production with accurate parts lists and sketches.
