Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare repair estimates following company guidelines and insurance partner requirements. You will communicate value to customers and help achieve a high close rate while supporting production flow.

The role emphasizes accurate estimation, teamwork with the repair staff, and adherence to the WOW Operating Way. Strong communication and basic software skills are essential to succeed in this hands-on training

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Must currently possess or successfully complete 16 I-CAR units within the first 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customer at repair drop off and build rapport.
• Maps damage with customer and notes WOW opportunities.
• Finalizes estimate using Repair Planning Template.
• Call customers to review estimate and promise date; update regularly.
• Assist insurance adjusters with damage reports and re-inspections.
