Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for Behavior Technician roles in the United States. You will work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided; candidates should be patient and team-oriented. The role involves physical activities and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test within the last year.
• Background check required.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, reach).
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
