Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. The role involves physical activity as clients may move, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test required.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification must be obtained within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to track progress and adjust plans.
• Maintain safety and supportive environment during activities, including physical tasks.
