Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in individualized, one-on-one sessions. You will assist in implementing behavior plans under a BCBA’s supervision, teaching essential communication and life skills through evidence-based methods.

Join a team dedicated to meaningful outcomes for children and families. Training is provided; candidates must be able to stand, move, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with the child’s plan.
