Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one intervention under the guidance of a BCBA. You will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while mitigating interfering behaviors.

Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Training will be provided; lifting up to 50 pounds and physical activity are expected as children move during sessions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.
• Collaborate with BCBA-supervised team to monitor progress and adapt interventions.
