Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA supervision. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Ideal candidates are patient, compassionate, and able to collaborate with a team. Training is provided, and the role involves physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds and daily movement.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test; background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA and the team to monitor progress.
• Assist with safe handling and movement of children; stand, walk, and sit as needed.
