Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking energetic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA, applying evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors as part of behavior analytic services.
• Participate in training provided and work as part of a team.
