Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under the supervision of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based strategies to build communication, social, and daily living skills while supporting families.

Ideal candidates are patient, compassionate, and able to collaborate effectively with a team. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds when needed; comprehensive training is provided to new hires.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Contribute to reducing interfering behaviors and track progress.
• Provide a supportive, safe, and engaging environment for children and families.
