Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. Candidates must be patient, comfortable standing and moving with children up to 50 pounds,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred or obtainable.
• Ability to obtain TB test and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavior support under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors with evidence-based techniques.
