Centria Healthcare seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA.

You will learn and apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while promoting safety and positive outcomes. No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and adapt to a dynamic classroom setting.

Qualifications

• Requires passion for helping children with autism.
• Must be patient, compassionate, and a team player.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Background check required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, kneel, etc.).
• RBT Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and promote safety and engagement.
• Collaborate with the team and families to support progress.
