Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized behavior plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. You will engage in physical activities with clients as needed, maintaining safety and care throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support overall development.
• Collaborate with a BCBA and team to plan and adjust strategies.
