Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians supporting children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No experience required; we provide comprehensive training. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Must be patient and compassionate.
• Able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Background check required.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Follow guidance from a BCBA and use evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors while ensuring child safety.
