Job summary

Centria Healthcare seeks enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing behavior plans under a BCBA’s guidance, teaching communication and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

The role requires patience, teamwork, and a willingness to learn; training is provided. Physical activity includes standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and varied movements throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age; HS diploma or GED; CPR/First Aid certs and TB test required

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention under BCBA guidance
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques
• Follow safety protocols and handle physical activities up to 50 pounds
