Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will provide one-on-one support to children with autism, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social and daily living skills. Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented.

Training is provided; CPR/First Aid and TB testing may be required. Eligible staff must obtain RBT certification within 45 days of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a preemployment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and track progress as part of therapy goals.
