Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA and help teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Training is provided; candidates must be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team. The role involves physical activity and may require lifting up to 50 pounds. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA and care team to monitor progress.
• Assist with daily living activities and safety.
