Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in one-on-one settings under BCBA supervision, helping children learn new skills and track progress.

You'll gain hands-on training in evidence-based techniques for communication, social and daily living skills, while promoting safety and positive behavior; CPR/First Aid and TB testing are required or completed during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism and working in a team.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a collaborative environment.
• 18+ years of age with High School diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test required or obtained on onboarding.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
• Maintain safety and positivity during sessions.
