Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing tailored behavior plans under a BCBA. You’ll use evidence-based methods to teach communication and daily living skills while promoting safety and growth.

The role emphasizes patience, teamwork, and a commitment to helping children reach their potential. Comprehensive training is provided, and candidates must obtain an RBT certification after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Candidates must obtain an RBT Certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques
• Work one-on-one with children and support a team environment
