Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism. You will implement individualized plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team. Training is provided; you may need to obtain CPR/First Aid and a TB test, plus eventual RBT certification after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks
• High school diploma or GED required; ongoing RBT certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills
• Ensure safety and support during activities, adapt strategies as needed
