Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training and support to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding. The role demands patience and teamwork, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; pay ranges from $18

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, lift).
• Candidates must obtain an RBT Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Assist BCBA under supervision to implement interventions.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Maintain safety while assisting with activities, up to 50 pounds.
• Participate in comprehensive training and onboarding.
